I will be posting some useful, and amazing info here. Anything from Combos to "Giga Jiggly". I will update this section often so keep checking back. Also, anyone is welcome to PM me for any info they have and I will post it here. Credit will be given to the submitter.
Tips1. Attacks
Here's something that is simple and some of you might not have noticed. Any attack that is not point blank range will not give out full damage. This is also how I get my damage readings in each of my guides. So try stunning your opponent to get as close as possible. This applies to uncharged smash attacks as well.
2. Waddle Dee Throw
Something not mentioned on Smash Bros. Dojo!!! about King Dedede is that he will throw an item sometimes. He usually does this when a Smash Ball is about to appear or one of the parts of the Dragoon ( if he throws one of these it will be in a capsule ). Make sure to keep an eye out for this.
3. Grabbing ( characters who use weapons to pull enemies in from a distance )
This can prove useful in any battle. Any character that uses some sort of weapon to grab enemies ( Link, Samus, etc. ) can acheive this quicker if running. This especially applies to Samus and Lucas. On a side note, Link doesn't have good horizontal and Lucas is hard to get back on the stage. Use their grab in the air to latch on to the stage. This is also a useful attack to stun opponents.
4. Final Smash Tips
When Bowser is Giga Bowser, he can still be damaged. This is a great opportunity in a multi-man brawl because while he's distracted, you can build up his damage by shooting projectiles or throwing items. When he starts to transforms back to normal, hit him with a smash attack to score a KO. This is extremely risky but can be done.
Peach can put anyone to sleep, even if they're airborne. Grab on to the ledge to avoid this. On a side note, Kirby's final smash is easy to avoid by side-stepping. Hold the Shield button and keep tapping down. This works best if you have distance between you and Kirby. This is because his FS grabs items and people closest to him, first.
Techniques1. Silent Shot
This technique isn't an "awesome" one but can be very effective when used properly. Fox and Falco are the only ones that can do this and this is best used in Team Battle or a standoff in a one vs. one match. Now, to use this, tap the jump button lightly. Just before you hit the ground, press the special move button ( B, 1, etc. ). You must press it just before you hit the ground or your Blaster will not even fire. If done correctly, you should not be able to hear and it will fire faster than normal. Your probably thinking "How can this be useful?" For Fox, once you've perfected it, you can move and jump which can make your opponent flinch ( the CPU will pay no attention ). It's even more useful for Falco. Falco fires his Blaster faster while airborne. This move allows you to shoot airborne and then land instantly after. This also allows you to knock your opponent off the stage before they can react and usually KO's them or sets you up for edge-guarding. Some may not think this Technique is useful at all. Even a waste of time. This is what I thought too but if perfected, it's very useful to any Fox or Falco player. This is even easier to use if you press the jump button while hanging on the edge of the level. Just use the Blaster before you hit the ground. Remember that timing is essential.
2. Sonic's "Fake Out"
Note: This is a tip but since Sonic uses this best, it's considered a Technique
Sonic is the fastest character in the game. He is the only one that can make good use of it but any character can do this. Now, When you are running at full speed with Sonic, before you get to your opponent press the Shield button and do a roll dodge backwards. This should make your oppnent try to attack and give you enough time to run up and grab your opponent or attack. You must keep running while you press the Shield button and then you must push the Control Stick backwards at the same time. It sounds confusing but you must pust the Control stick backwards at the same time of the Shield button or Sonic will stop and you will be even more vulnerable than just running straight forward. This is one of my favorite Techniques since i'm a Sonic player and i've won many online brawls with it.
Glitches1. "Giga Jiggly"
This isn't useful in battle but pretty fun to do. You must have two players. One as Jigglypuff and the other must be Yoshi. Go to the stage Eldin Bridge with the items set to only the Smash Ball on High. Get the Smash Ball with Jigglypuff and after the bridge is blown out, wait until you see the portal open above the bridge gap and jump in the middle of the gap then activate Puff Up ( Jigglypuff's Final Smash ). When the bridge has been repaired, Jigglypuff should have stopped growing and kept it's size. After, use Yoshi's Egg Lay to make Jigglypuff even bigger. This will only work a couple of times until you have to repeat the process again. Jigglypuff can take up the whole screen when the process is repeated a few times.
